Hi I am Tash and here is a little bit about my history of loving sport and exercise!
I am unfortunately one of those typical people who has loved sport and exercise since day one. In school if there was a sport club you can almost guarantee I was on it. At University I continued playing football and made some incredible friends. I healed old injuries in the gym and stopped fearing them so much. I have ran almost my entire life and in the last 2 years picked up triathlon.
I think the biggest thing I have ever taken away from this passion of mine is not that I am now fit and able to do things, because I still get tired after walking up the stairs? But what it surprises it seems to give you. I have gained some of my closest friends through sport. I think I am a much tougher person in my daily life because of some of the ridiculous physical challenges I have taken on. There is more and I cant wait to share it with you all!
About Me.

Objectives
At Active with Tash, I believe that every achievement matters, whether its a first step or a finish line. Small wins are what get you to your big wins and that is worth celebrating. Setting big goals that scare you is what excites me but smaller goals where there is less pressure help you develop confidence and self-belief.
Exercise should never be complicated or exclusive. It should be welcoming, enjoyable, and tailored to you!
My aim is to ensure everyone can get involved whilst being supported throughout their journey to finding their own path in movement.

Qualifications
2018-2022

My MSci in Sport, Exercise and Health science (4 years, joint masters at the University of Birmingham) not only gives me further understanding on biomechanics, physiology and nutrition for different population groups but also developed my ability to critically analyse research so that I can always create training plans based on up to date non-biased research. With social media being at it's highest ever, critical thinking about the information you are seeing is at its most importance.

Client testimonials
I have been attending classes with Tash for some time now and, during this period, I have found Tash to be an excellent personal trainer.
She is very organised, always on time and punctual. The environment is always set up well before the start of the class and the room is well planned with relevant equipment set out for the nature of the class. The content of the sessions is pitched for the ability level of the participants but Tash also includes differentiated tasks to add challenge where required. The content is stimulating and varied within as well as across sessions.
Tash is a very effective communicator with a very good sense of humour; her instructions are clear and precise and she explains herself well. She is encouraging and reassuring and gives you the confidence to try new approaches. She is also very knowledgeable about health and physiology, providing a clear rationale for the choice of exercise she asks you to do.
Overall, then, I would have no hesitation in recommending Tash as a personal trainer. If the opportunity arose, I would definitely work with her again.

‘Working with Tash is brilliant; she always gives her full focus and has helped me to maintain the progress I have made since starting neuro-physiotherapy back in 2020. Tash is a really easy-going person and is as friendly as they come, which makes the physiotherapy experience all the better. I highly recommend Tash, as both a physiotherapist technician and a fantastic person.’
